Blessed Kateri Takakwitha

One person we should pray for at this time of the year is for the cause for sainthood of Blessed Kateri. Iroquois Virgin (1656-1680), "Lily of the Mohawks", "Genevieve of New France." Her feast day was moved from April 7 to July 14th so her life could be celebrated outside the Holy time of Lent. She is a beautiful picture of womanhood and Christian Charity.
