Ash Wednesday is but a week away. It is time to prepare for the 40 days of lent. Just as Jesus spent 40 days in the desert preparing for His earthly ministry, so we spend 40 days remembering what He did for us on the cross. He took the punishment we deserved for our sin and took it upon Himself.
Don't forget to go to Mass. Don't forget to decide what you will give up as a sacrifice for Christ. It is one of the most beautiful times in the Church calendar. Don't forget.
